State of Search runs on WordPress. As do 72.4 million other websites. That is 53.8% of all sites using a content management system. These are quite impressive numbers. But there are a few more impressive stats when it comes to WordPress.

Definitely WordPress FTW. So many good templates available for under $30 dollars too on sites like Theme Forest.
A friendly reminder… it’s not just the CMS platform… it’s how the CMS is configured and used! WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Umbraco…. Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, Toyota. They all work. The driver (website manager) and mechanic (webmaster) can have significant impact on a website’s effectiveness. P.S. WordPress is good but we LOVE Umbraco.
