Friday Talk: Guy Kawasaki at the Parallels Summit 2012

So our Friday Talk is back this week with a talk by Guy Kawasaki, a well known name in the social industry. Some regard him as a ‘spammer’ other as an ‘entrepreneur’ who gets everything out of what he does. In both cases there is a lot to learn from what he does and says.

The Anatomy Of A Perfect Landing Page

It is something which is important. You might be able to get the attention of the search engine and rank your site, the next step is probably even more important: the clicks to the landing page and what people do there.

You want people to stay on your site or at least do what they are ‘supposed’ to do there. But how to do that? This ‘conversion’ is an entire study and a very interesting one. Friday Talk: Lawrence Lessig at Google

In this Friday Talk we enter the Google Plex, where many authors come and visit and talk about their books. One of these authors was Lawrence Lessig, who wrote “Republic, Lost”.

Lessig vividly champions the idea that we can succeed if we accept that corruption is our common enemy and that we must find a way to fight against it. In Republic, Lost, he not only makes this need palpable and clear-he gives us the practical and intellectual tools to do something about it.
