This week the show, which was hosted by Roy in Bas’s holiday week, was all about local. Roy invited Dutch SEOs Arjan Snaterse and Martijn Beijk to discuss local matters.
Different topics concerning local were discussed: how do you set up your site for local, how does Google Places work, Monetization of Maps and much more.
The shownotes are below, all the links can also be found in the special delicious feed.

Can’t believe you did a local show without me, my favourite nagging subject! We have actually had some BIG issues with local since Google Places launched, Google seem to have really tightened up their guidelines to a degree it makes no sense whatsoever. LIke you can’t mention hotel to describe (yeah that’s right) a HOTEL! That’s just fucking nuts. I can feel another local rant brewing…
hey Lisa,
Next time you’re on! This was more a local 101. Martijn, Arjan and I already said that we wanted to do an Local Advanced as well. You’re welcome then!
Looking forward to the advanced show already!
