A very special show this time coming straight from the webmasterradio booth at Search Engine Strategies New York 2010. While seated at the booth Bas was joined by Roy over Skype from Holland.
Bas and Roy welcomed guests Jon and Lisa Myers, Dixon Jones and Dave Naylor. After the first break Richard Zwicky also joined into the discussion.
Every guest gave their take on the conference and noticed that many of the sessions had some sort of local topic in them. The recent interest of local search in the UK were discussed, as well its importance in the SERPs, its lack of support and the problems with it as a result.
In the second part of the show Richard Zwicky joined in to tell us about his new service “Linker”, a kind of ‘dating service’ for webmasters to discuss link exchange opportunities.
Finally Search Engine Strategies Amsterdam was discussed shortly.
The shownotes are below, all the links can also be found in the special delicious feed.

I really enjoyed this show, one of our best shows I think, makes a huge difference when we can actually see eachother though so we don’t interupt etc. Great show!
Totally agree with what Lisa says above, really good show and really good to do one finally where everyone can interact rather than over skype.
