
It’s one of those weeks again. If you are in Search Marketing or working with or as an affiliate and you are looking to learn how to improve your business there is plenty of opportunity in Europe to get more information. That is, if the Icelandic ash cloud doesn’t stop you.
In London SMX is starting their advanced sessions for the first time in Europe. The successful format has been running in the US (Seattle) for a while but SMX has decided it was time for Europe to get its own SMX advanced. Meanwhile on the other side of the North Sea affiliates and search marketers are (trying to) gathering in Munich where A4U Expo opens its affiliate doors for the first time. Social Marketing: From Offline to Universal (#a4uexpo presentation)
The organizers have managed to again get a great line up of speakers together. Its a mixture of German, European and British speakers who make it to the other side of the pond to share their information. There are off course the ‘regular’ speakers like Dave Naylor and Marcus Tandler who will give away their high end tips, but A4U also stands for fresh blood and new and inspiring speakers and information. In Munich that will come from speakers like Liane Dietrich, Tom Critchlow, Sabine Haase, Francois Planque, Sri Sharma and many more. A line up you can’t miss out on.
SMX London
Where A4U starts on Tuesday SMX opens its doors a day earlier (today) in London. As said the Search Marketing Expo for the first time has an ‘advanced’ line up and it promises to be a very interesting show.
The show opens with keynote speaker Barak Berkowitz, Managing Director of Wolfram|Alpha. After him many advanced speakers will get on stage. If you are in London you will see people like Mikkel deMib Svendsen, Rand Fishkin, Rob Kerry, Andrew Girdwood and our very own Kelvin Newman get on stage. Special interest also goes out to Martijn Beijk, recently a guest on our radioshow about local, who will be in the panel “The Art Of Measuring Local & Mobile Search Results” on day 2.
Both conferences promise to have a high potential. If you are in the neighborhood (as we speak flights are having troubles again because of the ash cloud) I would suggest you head over to one of the events and see what is going on there. SMX even gives you a discount.
