State of Search radioshow – episode 30: #A4UExpo recap with @rishil, educating clients & more

After a week away and a show which Roy and Dennis did with Bas being away the State of Search radioshow was back in their full potential. Bas and Roy were joined by Rishil Lakhani (@rishil) who joined Bas and many others last week at the A4U Expo show in London.

They discussed the A4U Expo show, but also what a ‘good’ SEO company should do when it comes to ‘educating’ clients and much more.

State of Search radioshow – episode 27: “Cloaking” with Brent Payne and the future of search

Today Bas and Roy started of by discussing design matters. Twitter has a new design, but got hacked right away, Bas was surprised by this because a similar hack was already discovered a year ago.

In the final part of the show Bas and Roy were joined by Brent Payne who wrote a post on making different pages for different type of users, by some called cloaking. A very nice talk which is a must listen!

State of Search radioshow – episode 25: Thinkvisibility, The death of Sphinn, LDA and What’s Google up to

Bas and Roy were joined by Peter Young this week to talk about some of the topics which were in the news over the past week. Peter visited Thinkvisibility and talked us through the event. After that the discussion went to Sphinn, which announced it would be leaving their voting system. Was Sphinn useful or not?

After the break several topics were discussed. Roy and Peter argued the tool SEOMoz launched on LDA was a ‘fail’ and it was discussed what Google might be announcing. At the end Bas explained his new role of Social Marketing Ambassador.
