Aleyda Solis – Mobile SEO Workshop
1. What can attendees expect to learn?
The attendees to the Mobile SEO Workshop can expect to learn how to:
- Analyze and identify the best mobile SEO strategy according to their site goals, audience, technical capacity and online business characteristics.
- Optimize their sites using different techniques depending on their scenarios in a very practical way, with examples and tools.
- Effectively measure their mobile site traffic, activity and conversions to make ongoing optimization decisions and maximize their mobile performance.
2. What is the one thing from your workshop which people will be talking about when they leave?
I expect that they comment about how they need to start identifying and maximizing their Mobile SEO opportunities from what they have learned during the workshop, since it’s a straightforward process.
3. What interested you most about running this workshop at BrightonSEO?
Have a chance to share about the mobile SEO opportunities and interact with the attendees to learn more about their particular scenarios.
4. If you had to give away one Mobile SEO tip, what would it be?
Don’t wait more, start with mobile SEO now by reading the mobile SEO audit guide I shared recently in State of Search.
Kevin Mullaney – Local SEO Workshop
1. What can attendees expect to learn?
The local search workshop is for marketers of all abilities and will cover the full suite of best practice implementation, for getting started, and the more complicated ongoing strategies that lead to local success. We will also be giving out a few freebies and research insights so that everyone can get cracking straight after the conference.
2. What is the one thing from your workshop which people will be talking about when they leave?
I’m hoping that attendees will either be saying, ‘why haven’t we thought of this before’ or, ‘it’s really that simple!’. I sincerely believe that local provides the best ROI for SMBs who often get confused or feel cheated by traditional SEO. So I’m hoping to create a buzz among attendees by showing them the true merits of local.
3. What interested you most about running this workshop at BrightonSEO?
For me it’s all about promoting the benefits of local SEO which is sometimes seen as a small niche within the SEM community. Generating more interest and advocates for local SEO is my main reason for leading the workshop and we’ve never had one before. I felt that needed to change!
4. If you had to give away one Local SEO tip, what would it be?
My Local SEO tip for anyone with an offline presence is: if you haven’t started optimising for local then it’s not too late, your competitors probably already have – so get involved.
