The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) wants to serve the search marketing industry and marketing professionals engaged in it. They do that by fostering awareness, providing education, promoting the industry, generating research and creating a better understanding of search and its role in marketing. Until recently only businesses could be members.
Starting now SEMPO introduces a new membership: Individual Memberships. For only 125 dollars per year individuals can become SEMPO members and make use of all the things business can make use of.
Chris Boggs, president of SEMPO, says:
“SEMPO can truly play a pivotal role in helping members connect at a local level around the world. Being part of this vibrant community, both online and off, is an asset that would be tough to match anyplace other than SEMPO.”
Members gain access to the global non-profit SEM organization’s Resource Library and to its State of Search Market and Industry Salary Survey results. Other membership perks include 20% discounts on SEMPO Institute courses and the chance to participate in regular roundtables on emerging trends.

Thank you Bas for posting this news! I am a bit late due to some recent vacations, but your help in spreading this word is very much appreciated.
Mijn Nerderlands is niet so goed, mar als ik begript ‘t comment van Emile, ulie willen een SEMPO Chapter en Holland? you simply need ot have 5 different Dutch members in order to form an official local working group – please let me know if you need me to put you in touch with the right team?
Graag bedankt!
CB
Chris your dutch isn’t good but I know what you mean
Only question: Who are the 5 SEMPO members in the Netherlands and want to start a Dutch SEMPO chapter with help of the right team.
I only know, I’m willing to be one of them.
Regards,
Emile
Hi Emile,
there are several members in Holland I think (I’m one of them). It’s worth a discussion at least
Hi Chris.
you’re welcome
It’s not exactly what he says, but he does indicate it might be time for that indeed. Maybe it is. Who knows
.
You may contact me to help out with setting up a chapter; I guess Robbert vd Heuvel may be interested as well.
Fabian vd Wiele in Bruxelles may be into some cooperation as well, since he’s the only member in Belgium.
