FB-header-example-2

The holiday season is clearly starting and we want to make it a festive one! We want to ‘dress up’ State of Search by creating a festive header for the site, the Facebook page and our Google+ Page.

But in stead of getting our designers to do it we thought it would be fun to see if readers or friends of the readers of the site would want to get involved, so we are making a contest out of it!

YOU or someone you know can be the one designing a header for State of Search. What we would want you to do is create a header for one of the three platforms (or all three) and upload it to our Facebook page. Then collect as many likes as you can for your design.

The ones with the most likes will then be judged by the State of Search bloggers team and the winners will be featured on the site, our Facebook page and our Google+ Page. With credits off course. You will be able to showcase your skills and ‘promote’ yourself! The designs will stay up from December 20 until January 14.

The must knows

Sizes

Off course there are a few things you should know, like sizes & stuff! Here they are:

Size of the Facebook header: 850 x 315 px
Size of the G+ header: 850×235 px
Size of the header for the site: 960 x 130px

Files

Make sure the logo is somewhere in the header! Logo’s can be downloaded here:

So start designing!
