A new experiment from Google lets you share pages on Google+ directly from the search results. I personally haven’t seen this option yet but Berian Reed, head of search marketing AutoTrader UK spotted the ‘Share on Google +‘ after performing a search.
As you can see in the screenshot below the option is placed to the right after the URL of the search result where currently the +1 button is placed. After clicking the button you can add your own comment and choose circles before sharing on Google+.
Currently you can not share a page in the search results but you can only +1 it. If Google decides to roll out the new share option it would be a little strange that you can share a page that you haven’t visited yet.
Talking about the search results, also recently spotted by Mediaworks online marketing, are new tabbed sitelinks that Google is currently testing. In the screenshot below you can see that the sitelinks are divided in different categories each containing a couple of links.
