About the Event
The Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference & Expo (RIMC) is now in its 10th year of existence. The event is the result of an ambitious partnership between Nordic eMarketing, MBL.is and more.
Nordic eMarketing is a full-service Internet consultancy company with the expertise and contacts to do almost anything on the Internet for any size organisation as long as it’s legal and ethical.
The company is particularly successful in Search Engine Optimisation, online PR, reputation management, Pay-Per Click advertising and multilingual online marketing campaigns, among many others things.
Mbl.is started as the website of Iceland’s best-selling newspaper, Morgunblaðið and quickly grew into a valuable national asset in its own right. Mbl.is is now the most popular Icelandic-language website.
Mbl.is is Icelanders’ first port of call for news and sport, but also for many other things, including classified ads, dating and personal blogs. It has gained its enviable position by keeping at the forefront of global news distribution technology and by being aggressive and consistent in its promotion campaigns.
Mbl.is has a video distribution deal with Reuters as well as creating its own online video news. The website also features a ‘News in English’ section.
RIMC therefore draws on a great well of international expertise that enables it to be organised to the highest possible standards at the best possible price.
Furthermore, the personal contacts built up by the companies have enabled them to assemble a particularly diverse and internationally respected group of industry experts to provide speeches and seminars.
Past RIMC have celebrated success with over 250 average attendees and the online feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
