A bit of quick news about conferences which came by in the past month:
SMX West has Sneak Peek Agenda
- SMX West, which will take place in March 11 – 13, 2013, has announced their ‘sneak peek agenda’ where you can see which topics are being discussed. Find it here.
- SES London 2013, (18-21 February) is now taking speaker submissions. If you want to speak go here and sign up!

International Search Summit – London
For the second time this year the International Search Summit was held in London. Claire Thompson attended the event and produced a write up of the full day for State of Search.
Conversion Conference – London
In London the 2012 Conversion Conference took place. State of Search had two bloggers at the event, Samantha Noble and Ned Poulter who reported on a number of sessions across the two days:

Upcoming Events
In the next month several conferences will be up and running again and you can expect full coverage (as always) on the State of Search blog:
SMX Social Media Marketing Expo
The next SMX Social Media Marketing Expo takes place on 5th and 6th December in the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. If you are managing communities, buying social media advertising or managing campaigns, this event is going to be for you. Across the two days there will be four different tracks:
- Earned Media Track
- Paid Media and Customer Track
- Sales and ROI Track
- Technical Track
SMX Social Media is a tactic-rich conference and you can expect to see presentations that cover a lot of the key issues that businesses come across when they are trying to get the most out of their social media marketing campaigns.

SAScon Mini Conference
On 7th December, SAScon Mini is being held in Manchester. This is a half day event which takes place every year running parallel to the main two day SAScon event which usually takes place in May or June.
The theme for the event this year is Mobile and Local and throughout the afternoon, attendees will hear from some great speakers talking about these subjects:
