You all know the State of Search radioshow which we do every Tuesday night on Webmasteradio (subscribe to the podcast here). But off course we are not the only ones talking about search on the web. One of our bloggers, Kelvin Newman, has his own podcast, the Internet Marketing Podcast. Thursday he invited a couple of European experts to discuss the new Google Instant Search.
As every week we bring you news on State of Search. We recorded this for you on Monday but have been struggling with the quality of the video ever since. Therefore this week we are posting the update in podcast format only. And we hope to get a grip on the settings of Camtasia next week ; ). Bas and Roy were joined by Peter Young this week to talk about some of the topics which were in the news over the past week. Peter visited Thinkvisibility and talked us through the event. After that the discussion went to Sphinn, which announced it would be leaving their voting system. Was Sphinn useful or not?
After the break several topics were discussed. Roy and Peter argued the tool SEOMoz launched on LDA was a ‘fail’ and it was discussed what Google might be announcing. At the end Bas explained his new role of Social Marketing Ambassador.

After a week without a show Bas and Roy returned to do another great show. They were joined by fellow blogger Bastian Grimm who covered SES San Francisco for State of Search. Bastian discussed the quality of SES San Francisco and gave some highlights of the show. They even got someone from the chatroom in the show to give his view on SES!
After the break Bas, Roy and Bastian discussed Google live updating results, which Rob Ousbey discovered last week and the possibility of getting more results from one domain now Google has changed their algorithm on that.
