BBC Documentary Mark Zuckerberg: Inside Facebook

Mark-Zuckerberg-Facebook

This Sunday the BBC broadcasted a documentary about Facebook. In this one hour long documentary Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg talked about his product and gave us some insights into his world. The documentary however by some was seen as more of an advertisement for Facebook than a real documentary. This was caused by the way BBC presenter Emily Maitlis was ‘all over Zuckerberg’.

You can be the judge yourself. Mark Zuckerberg himself posted the entire documentary online, on YouTube, so it is now available for everybody to watch, even if you are not in the UK. You can see it below. Do not hesitate to give us your opinion. (more…)

search-quality-alliance

What would you do if you worked for Google, left and started your own business? You would probably focus on that business and would try to get as much out of it as possible, even using the knowledge you had build up at Google.

So when Six former Googlers from the Search Quality announced they were joining together in something called the “Search Quality Alliance” many immediately thought this was about making money. And using their Google background to do so. It is not. They decided “to share their expertise and evangelize successful White Hat search engine optimization in the search industry”. Bradley Horowitz talks about Google+ with Tim O’Reilly

Google wants Google+ to be a success, so that means they will have to talk about Plus and explain more about it. In this video below Bradley Horowitz, Vice President of Product for Google’s social products, talks with Tim O’Reilly about Google+. They discuss the use of Google+ and some of the features. The interesting part of this is that they also focus on data, what will they do with the data they get from Plus? And how did the Google+ team think about social data-design.
