power-of-mobile-intro

One of the ‘hot topics’ at SES London 2012 definitely was mobile. Mobile search, the use of mobile in social, they were all discussed on stage. It has been said for years now that each year is ‘the year of the mobile’. Maybe we should just decide it is here, and here to stay.

Pinterest: The Numbers Game

Pinterest-infographic-intro

Pinterest is probably the newest ‘hot’ item on the social web. Whether or not it will stick around time will tell, but the immense amount of new followers I am getting in the past few weeks as well as the traffic it gets us shows for me that there might be potential in the tool.

There have been a few posts, including on our own blog, about what the tool actually does. But marketers also like to look at numbers. How is the usage, what is the traffic and who is using it? These questions are answered in this infographic. (more…)

You do have to think well about your website: what purpose do you want it to have. Why do you need it. And off course after that comes the question: but how? This infographic looks at all these elements. (more…)

How To Spot Fake and Real Profiles on Facebook

facebook-fake-real-intro

The web is open and free. Which means everybody can be who they want. Or you might also say: anybody can create who they want. The web has many fake profiles. Something Google for example tries to prevent from happening at Google+ with their real name policy.

Whether that will work remains to be seen. In the mean time other social networks like Twitter and Facebook are filled with fake accounts. We’ve talked about how to recognize Twitter bots before. This time we look at Facebook and we get help from Barracudalabs who produced a great inforgraphic telling us what to look out for when trying to spot Facebook fake profiles. (more…)
