Which brands are successful in Social Media? They are ranked now! (infographic)

Last month Yomego, crunched the data with Alterian’s SM2 tool to create what they call “the world’s first Social Media Reputation Index.” This index tries to benchmarkt a brands popularity. They look at reach recency and satisfaction recency online.

This ‘algorithm’ resulted in a list of brands and how they are performing socially on the web. And they were smart enough to throw in an infographic. (more…)

The history of search engines (infographic)

Remember Altavista? Yes you do. Off course, it was the first real ‘search giant’. But here is a more difficult one: remember Infoseek? Or Looksmart? That is getting more difficult right? What about visual searchengine “Searchme”. That is not that long ago, but have heard much from them in the past years.

Its all part of search engine history and who knows, someday Google will also be history (yes, it already is but its not something which has had its peak). The history of the search engines is nicely showed in this infographic.

Google’s acquisitions (infographic)

I’ve been thinking about what would be a nice infographic to make, one which actually had some use, next to getting the link attention for which many of them were made. One I did think of is an overview of all the Google acquisitions, since Google is currently buying more than a company a month. Well, someone beat me to it: scores.org. The State of… YouTube

Well, Marcus said it before, Infographics are becoming important. And off course we listen to Marcus! We found this infographic through Flowtown about the State of YouTube. It shows the immense growth of the video search engine, going from almost 89 million monthly unique visitors in November 2009 to 103,817,689 in May 2010. What do you mean, video is getting important?
