It was a busy day yesterday at SMX in London, unlike previous years this was the under the ‘Advanced” brand which made a huge difference, there was less of the SEO 101 content we all know so well and more actionable suggestions and plenty of coverage of topics that we’re new to me.
But what if you weren’t there, or where overwhelmed by by the sheer volume of live tweets?

It’s one of those weeks again. If you are in Search Marketing or working with or as an affiliate and you are looking to learn how to improve your business there is plenty of opportunity in Europe to get more information. That is, if the Icelandic ash cloud doesn’t stop you.
In London SMX is starting their advanced sessions for the first time in Europe. The successful format has been running in the US (Seattle) for a while but SMX has decided it was time for Europe to get its own SMX advanced. Meanwhile on the other side of the North Sea affiliates and search marketers are (trying to) gathering in Munich where A4U Expo opens its affiliate doors for the first time. State of Search will try to give you updates on both events, so stay tuned!
