searchmetrics-logo

As you are used from us we try out different things around events. That is one of the things that makes us special! At this years SES New York we will be bringing you blogposts again about sessions, but we are also trying to do something more. We decided to go around the Expo Hall and talk to different tools asking them to ‘pitch’ for us. Tell us why their tools are the best.

We will be bringing you these pitches on video throughout the next few days, today: Searchmetrics Founder Marcus Tober tells us about his product. Find below the 5 minute overview of Searchmetrics. Enjoy! And again, let us know your experiences with the tool in the comments.

RIMC 2012 – The Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference – Iceland #RIMC12

RIMC2012

Having never been to Iceland, the RIMC (Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference) was a must on the agenda for the year, but I had no idea that I was going on a trip that would totally blow my mind!

Not only was the conference outstanding, the organisation of a series of events for speakers (and me as a very lucky guest) has ensured that Iceland now has a place in my heart, and I will always speak highly of this very special conference and very special country! (more…)

The Psychology of Link Building

plutchik-wheel-psychology

Last week I spoke at a Distilled Meetup themed around the Psychology of Link Building, alongside Mike Essex from Koozai and Phil Nottingham from Distilled.

It was a really interesting event, and now I’m finally on the road to recovery from my #girlflu, I thought I’d share some of my insights and takeaways from the evening. This is however less a write-up of the event, and more a few stand-outs thoughts on link building and the thoughts behind it as an overview. (more…)

Think Visibility 7 Round-Up

think-visability-logo

It’s that time again folks – yes – it really has been 6 months since the last Think Visibility Conference or #thinkvis as it’s more widely known. Held in the usual venue of the Alea Casino in Leeds, Think Visibility 7 was for me one of the most creative and fun yet! A fantastic range of speakers from the brand new to the seasoned pro, and some of the funniest talks (and sights) I have seen on the circuit to date; including a presentation by Chewbacca, bouncy castle and ball pool! The lunchtime entertainment was also a bonus as yours truly got to shoot people in the face wearing a pig mask in the ‘weakest link’ parody!
