Louis Venter is the founding director and CEO of MediaVision, a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) company specialising in all areas of search. His particular interests are organic search marketing, paid search marketing, conversion strategy and online PR.12 years of experience in SEM and high end development have equipped him with key skills in technology enterprise as well as project and team management. Originally from South Africa, Louis moved to London some years ago to seek opportunities in the IT industry and went on to start his own company.
Since its foundation in 2003 MediaVision has expanded and thrived under Louis’s leadership. His personal ethos of striking a balance between hard work and hard play is evident in the running of the company and the attitudes of its employees.
When not experimenting with search strategies or live blogging, Louis can be found encouraging office mischief or planning company barbeques, sailing trips and bowling nights. He thoroughly enjoys the occasional prank phone call.
