Bio

Carla Marshall is an SEO consultant and owner of Sorbet Digital which provides SEO, PPC, Video Optimisation and Social Media services to a range of clients in the UK, the US and Europe.

She began her online marketing career with Netstep, a full service agency based in Leeds and one of the early adopters of SEO for the travel and financial industries. A solid grounding in optimisation and PPC enabled her to progress to managing large accounts with extensive budgets but a high expectation of some serious ROI.

After Netstep, she was lucky enough to be taken on as one of the SEO team at Bronco where her skills were honed and developed by the best SEO in the UK, Dave Naylor. She quickly became accustomed to working with brand leading clients, delivering online marketing strategy and quantifiable results in highly competitive niches. Carla has a particular passion for auditing websites and identifying immediate opportunities for improvement.

Away from SEO, Carla is training to be a Stats Geek with the Leeds Roller Dolls, is obsessed with fairy lights and bunting and loves gingerbread lattes. For the record, she doesn’t like dolphins or parsnips. If she wasn’t an SEO she’d almost definitely be a cryptozoologist.
