The never ending issue: how will newspapers evolve. And how will they make money? Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt has a pretty straight forward view on it. He believes there IS a future for newspaper and he believes Google can help out. At the Guardian Activate Summit in London on July 1st Schmidt talked to Alan Rusbridger about this topic. And he was very clear: newspapers will have to change. And Google wants to become the company that offers the pieces of the puzzle.
Wake up! The laid back summer is over and the conferences are back! After a slow period in which most search marketers enjoyed a nice holiday many of the ‘hard core’ SEOs gather again for a renewed SES. This time the destination is San Francisco where its SES San Francisco 2010.
In San Francisco SES this year is hosting a conference which is more than just search. Almost two weeks ago Yahoo announced it was (finally) going to test integrating Bing-results in their search engine results. Finally. But what is it we can expect from the big “Search Alliance” between Bing and Yahoo? In the video below Microsoft Advertising explains “how Yahoo! & Microsoft are working towards an easier way to advertise on Yahoo!
