As you may have noticed conference season is about to begin again. The first major event in Europe will be SES London 2012. Many great speakers will be present there, some of which we will be highlighting starting next week.
There are many chances you will get to go to that conference, for free! And here is one of them. A special set up from our close friends over at SEO Chicks. A unique opportunity for those starting out in the industry. You can not only win a ticket, you also get free mentoring from some of the best in the industry.
SEO Chicks is running a competition on their blog, because nothing comes for free. You have to prove that you are worth the ticket and the advice!
What do you have to do?
Here’s what the SEO Chicks are asking:
Create a blogpost OR a video
Topic: A lot has happened in SEO in the past 10 years, what will happen in the next 10 years. Tell us what you think SEO will be like in 2022. The entry can be anything from a serious blogpost on SEO and its development to a fun futuristic view of SEO, or maybe an interview with yourself in the future. It’s up to you.
When you have made the entry all you do is tweet a link to your entry and include @SEOChicks + the hashtag #SEO2022
What we are looking for: An entry that will make us think, laugh or make us say “yeah that’s it”.
What can you win and what are the rules?
Important to know in these circumstances is what you can win off course:
1 FULL CONFERENCE pass to SES LONDON 2012 (21st-23rd February) AND access to ClickZ Training Academy (Monday 20th February).
SEO Chicks has set a few rules which you can find here. Some good things to keep in mind:
- you don’t need to be in the UK to enter the competition
- the prize does NOT include hotel or travel to London
- you MUST be available to attend both the training day and the conference days
- The competition is open to women AND MEN!
- You have to be in SEO less than 2 years to be eligible to join in
So head over to SEO Chicks and find out and enter the competition and share! See you there!
